I’ve never meant to dis-neglected my blog so much time, this thing just happened among so many, many others. I didn’t want even inform you what kind of December we had. Story short – lot of sickness over here.
I wanted to start new year with new things. And I did. I wanted to learn new things and connect with others. I put my business, blog, shops, everything (except family) aside to look for new horizons. O.k. let me tell you I was super scared to start learning Illustrator. I did it because I think I can not do my business without any computer designig skills. It was a nightmare to start but as the process went on I realized I fell in love with my new skill. I have so much to learn and I am really exploring totally new worlds.
Not that I am forgeting my true love – hand painting. I just can’t wait to have enough knowledge to put them together.
Another learning phase is happening right now. The Hello Soul, Hello Business course started ten days ago and I feel like a mad women here. My head is full of personal digging, connections, questions, dreams, ideas … There si so much going on with that group, that I sometimes feel dizzy. It’s kind a new addiction I keep checking this private FB group all day and I read almost every post posted on a course comment section. I am a good student and the energy in the class is fantastic. I wonder where this hunger for knowledge was in my students days :)?!! It’s really funny but I’ve been thinking that I have to end my formal education to find out that I am in loved with learning. Strange but true.
Meantime updates:
- As you know our Sofija can walk. And climb and dance :).
- I am planning to update my web site and especially my blog.
- I am still trying to adjuste to my Wacom tablet. Agrrh … Tough time :).
- I am trying to find some time to refill my Etsy shop.

Hi Petra, like you said to me before..I am breathing with you. I love what you have accomplished with Illustrator. I work with what I know with Photoshop and would love to learn illustrator. Are you learning by yourself? Love watching your process, your accomplishments, Sofija’s accomplishments, too. So happy , really happy to be with you in both courses! We have to learn a share a lot. I have a Wacom tablet which I am not using at all. I should try. I am loving the hand drawn icons.

Wow Petra! Your Illustrator work is fabulous…I am still in the very early stages of conquering Illustrator. I am continually amazed at how much is possible with that software program. Just did a chapter on color and I felt like I could study that element of the software for several months. Lots of fun and glad to see you’re doing well.
Yes Mary-Michael, I know if you would study every single tool you can really study it for weeks and weeks and weeks 🙂
Petra those patterns are lovely! It sounds like you’re soaking up many good things. Enjoy. : )
Also a fellow flyer, Stephanie
