Last week we abundantly planed our spring and summer breaks. I am so happy I could dance all over the place! Why? If I think in detail we weren’t on real vacation since our honeymoon 5 years ago. We always planned our trips that we could unite them with our work. As a family we were bounded on long weekends or 5 days max.
This year we already planed our trips and our stays (even Vienna, where we’ll go to the Zoo and Prater :)!). And on the end of this week a mailman got me a beautifully designed calendar my art friend Paula made for for Lang company. She sent me a present. Isn’t that nice? And on the cover it says Around the world. Funny how sometimes things just click together :).
This calender also reminded me, how sometimes we planed things but they are just not meant to be. Last summer (I was pregnant and really bad in coping with summer heat) we decided to go on short trip with the boat on a Slovenian coastline. We wanted to connect a slowly walk from Portorož to Piran and the slowly walk turned out to panic run as we found out that we slightly overestimate our walking speed. As we came running to pier we could only wave our boat goodbye. I guess my hubby and I were more disappointed than Tim. So we changed our plans and slowly continued our walk between streets of Piran. Some of the cutest photos were taken then. As we seat on the beach we saw our boat returning to the pier. Tim started waving and I started laughing. In the end no one knew why we were laughing, but I really remembered his loud laugh …
