“Unfearing” the fears
For years and years I was burdened by the fact that I didn’t go to an art school. To be honest – I wasn’t allowed to. My parents were very strict about that and I was told they won’t support poor artist. Period! I know now that they meant good (though I needed years to remodel this). Something to read about
You know the movie There something about Mary … Well – there is something about this book I’m gonna write about, that makes me keep moving every time I just get the glimpse of it. It is just funny – last time I checked Kim Parkers book Home in Amazon it was offered together with also one of my inspirational book picks: Taking Flight by Kelly Rae Roberts. But this is another book and another story.
And you also know the saying never judge the book by its cover, but when I first saw Home I did exactly that. I was atracted by the cover – woman sitting very contentedly on the sofa, souranded with beautiful pillows and paitings. I didn’t think – just ordered it.
